British Columbia PNP Invites 76 Candidates In Latest Tech Pilot Draw
The November 3 draw is British Columbia’s first Tech Pilot draw of the month.
In its first Tech Pilot draw of this month, British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued a total of 76 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence to Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) candidates.
The BC PNP divided the invitations between the Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories under the EEBC and SI streams.
The minimum provincial score required for successful candidates across the categories was 80.
The BC PNP Tech Pilot program offers a fast-track immigration pathway for In-demand candidates from technical background applying to be permanent Canadian residents who have positive employment prospects in British Columbia. The program operates through BC PNP’s existing immigration streams.
In order to be considered for immigration through the BC PNP Tech Pilot program, candidates need to have a valid job offer in one of 29 in-demand tech occupations.
A Tech Pilot job offer must be a valid one (under one of the 29 eligible occupations), and it must be for a duration of at least one year (365 days), and the job offer must have at least 120 days remaining at the time of application to the BC PNP. Additionally, the job offer must be full-time and from an eligible employer in the province.
The BC PNP Tech Pilot issues weekly invitations to top-scoring candidates who meet the requirements for the program.
The invited candidates will have 30 days to submit a complete application. Once the complete application is submitted, most tech applications will be processed within two to three months.
